RN-LED SUPPORT FOR WORKING PARENTS
Newborn Support for Parents Returning to Work
Returning to work while your baby is still waking overnight can make an already significant transition feel even harder. Our experienced Registered Nurses provide private overnight newborn care designed to support your baby's needs while creating more opportunity for you to rest before the workday begins.

WHEN PARENTAL LEAVE ENDS
Your Workday May Start Before Your Baby Sleeps Through the Night
Returning to work doesn't mean your baby's overnight needs suddenly disappear. Early mornings, demanding workdays, pumping or feeding routines, and interrupted sleep can quickly add up when you're trying to care for a young baby and function professionally the next day.
Overnight support can help protect opportunities for rest during a season when both your baby and your work require so much from you.

QUESTIONS WORKING PARENTS OFTEN ASK
Frequently Asked Questions
Planning overnight support around a return to work can look different for every family. Here are a few questions parents often ask.
Can we schedule overnight care only on work nights? Depending on availability, overnight care can be scheduled around the nights your family would most benefit from support. During your consultation, we'll discuss your work schedule, anticipated needs, and available nursing coverage.
Can overnight care help while I'm breastfeeding or pumping? Yes. Your RN can support your established feeding plan and help with newborn-related feeding tasks such as bottle and pump-part preparation and cleaning as appropriate. When specialized lactation support is needed, we encourage families to work with an IBCLC or healthcare provider.
What happens if my baby still wakes frequently when I return to work? Frequent overnight waking can be normal for young babies. Your RN can provide hands-on care during overnight wakings while following your baby's needs and your family's established feeding and care preferences.
Is overnight newborn care the same as sleep training? No. Overnight newborn care focuses on caring for your young baby's current overnight needs while supporting parent rest. Sleep Support is a separate service designed for families whose babies are developmentally ready for more structured sleep support.
When should we arrange support for returning to work? We recommend reaching out as early as possible if you know your anticipated return-to-work date. Planning ahead gives us the best opportunity to coordinate requested overnight support around your family's schedule.
